C. Sills Ltd is an independent privately owned company situated in Devonport, Auckland New Zealand.
The company prides itself on its New Zealand design – not only are the collections New Zealand designed but also our very experienced designers are New Zealanders. Richard Moore along with Kathryn Wilson and Kylie Niovara-Dave are designers for the company.
The staff at C. Sills Ltd is proud to be employed by a company which not only makes its mark in the fashion world but also shows integrity and longevity. C. Sills Ltd has been in the market place for over 30 years. The company prides itself on its reliability in every aspect from design, manufacture and service.
The company houses five brands – Caroline Sills, Calliope, Richard Moore, Birzeit (plus sizes 16-24) and Kathryn Wilson footwear.
Caroline Sills, our premier womens fashion collection, takes its name from the co-director and original designer Caroline Sills. This collection is renowned for its classic elegance, high quality yarns and styling - it embraces all ages and is timeless. Enduring fibres, such as 100% cashmere, and 100% extra fine merino are attributes which give Caroline Sills it's sophisticated distinction.
Calliope, (originally called Calliope Road and re-branded in 2007), was introduced in 1992, offering casual, directional clothing and an easy wear influence. Calliope holds a very secure place in the market and blends innovative design and high quality yarns, to create modern and unique lifestyle dressing.
Birzeit introduced in 2002 covers the larger woman sizes 16 to 24 with panache and comfort – developed from increasing market demand for high quality knitwear to fit the larger woman. The Birzeit label filled the gap for those customers who wanted to wear the Caroline Sills quality and styling, in a more generous fit.
Richard Moore the newest of the labels (2004) and designed by Richard himself. In his own range Moore's beautiful knitwear captures soft simple lines and long narrow fits with the best of yarns and appealing detail. The simplicity of design makes this a very modern, universally appealing street boutique range.
Kathryn Wilson launched her debut range of leather footwear under C.Sills Ltd in 2003. Using top manufacturers in Italy and China with quality components sourced from Europe, combined with Wilson's design talent, a range of exceptionally high quality versatile and affordable footwear has been achieved. | |
